This policy describes how Social Directory LLC collects and uses your data.

What we collect

We collect information you provide directly: your email, age, photos, messages, and any other profile information. We also collect basic usage data such as device type. We currently do not collect location data, but plan to in the near future. If this changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not currently use cookies or tracking tools on our website.

How we use it

We use your data solely to operate the app -- displaying your profile, delivering messages, maintaining your account, and maintaining the app's security and integrity. We do not sell your data. We will not share it with third parties except as required by law such as in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process.

Messages

Private messages are stored on our servers to deliver them to recipients. We do not read your messages except where required to investigate reported violations of our Terms of Service.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which will remove your profile, photos, and messages from our active servers immediately and irrecoverably. Tags that you have submitted are considered public and will remain in the database. If your account has been reported by another user, a copy of your profile during the time of the report may be retained for several months even if your account has been deleted.

Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at contact@meet.directory.

If you did not use a valid email address when you signed up, no longer have access the email you used to sign up, or forgot your login credentials, we have no way to verify your identity and cannot modify or delete your account. We can delete it after one year of inactivity.

Minors

This app is strictly for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover an underage account, we will delete it immediately.

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. If there is a valid email associated with your account, you will be given at least a week's notice of any upcoming changes to this policy.
